PROGRESS INDICATORS

Natural space with butterflies

Take the children on an outing to a flowering or grassy space where butterflies are present.

Step 1

Instruct: follow a butterfly with the eyes for as long as possible without moving.

Step 2

No catching, no pointing, just watching.

Step 3

After 10 minutes: 'How did it feel to follow something that doesn't stop?'.

Step 4

Draw from memory: the butterfly and its path.

Step 5

Step 6

Active sensory listening: The child spontaneously describes a physical sensation experienced in nature (warmth, sound, texture) with increasingly precise vocabulary according to age.

Body-nature connection: The child places their hands on bark, lies in the grass, closes their eyes facing the sun - grounding gestures initiated without prompting.

Emotional regulation through nature: The child returns to a calm state after time in nature and names it: "I feel better / calmer / less stressed."

Expression of inner feelings: The child translates their sensory experience into words, drawing, or writing.

Inner reconnection ritual: The child joins their sit spot or chooses a nature-reconnection activity without being invited - a sign of an internalized personal ritual.
