30-second sand timer
DETAILED PROCEDURE
Gather the whole group together in a circle for this activity. Propose the challenge of listening to a classmate without moving or speaking.
Step 1
Start the timer and say: "While the sand flows, your only job is to welcome their words."
Step 2
Observe discreetly for the child's urge or impulse to cut in.
Step 3
Once time is up, invites sharing: "What did you feel in your body while waiting?"
