DETAILED PROCEDURE

Gather the whole group together in a circle for this activity. A volunteer child acts out a role by miming an emotion using only facial expressions.

Step 1

Guide group observation: "Look closely at their eyes... what are they telling us?"

Step 2

Other children try to guess the emotion their classmate is showing.

Step 3

The miming child explains why they chose that emotion and how they expressed it.

Step 4
