DETAILED PROCEDURE
Gather the whole group together in a circle for this activity. Explain calmly to the children: "In every group, there are always people on the edges - not quite in, not quite out. The most meaningful leadership is often choosing to pull them in."
Step 1
Use these micro-inclusions: small, specific acts that signal belonging. 'What do you think?' / 'Come sit with us' / 'I noticed you weren't there yesterday - we missed you.'.
Step 2
Inclusion audit: in your most important social group, who is on the edges? What keeps them there?
Step 3
Say gently to the children: "You don't need to restructure the whole group. You need to make one person feel more included every day."
Step 4
2-week micro-inclusion practice: one intentional act per day, journaled.
