Me with Nature
30-45 min
Learning goal :
Learning to create and express myself in nature
Pedagogical Intention :
Stimulating creativity and free expression through the hands
Target skills :
Mobilizing all the senses mindfully in movement. Creating an immersive and memorable experience of nature through the body.
Materials :
Prepared station sheets + Natural elements at stations + Journal or paper
Detailed procedure :
1. A group prepares 5 sensory stations in nature (touch, smell, sound, sight, overall feeling)
2. At each station: 1–2 minutes of silent sensory attention, without naming
3. After each station: one word written in the journal
4. At the end: 'Create a sentence that links all 5 words'
5. Sharing in a circle: read the sentences - what landscape do they create together?
Progress Indicators :
Creativity with natural elements: Freely uses natural materials (earth, branches, leaves) to create, build, or shape something.
Body expression in nature: Moves, mimes, dances, or plays outdoors in connection with a natural element.
Imagination stimulated by nature: Invents a story, character, or scenario inspired by what they observed in nature.
Shared and cooperative creation: Collaborates on a collective creation in nature (land art, symphony, construction).
Creative alternative to screens: Spontaneously chooses a creative activity in nature over a screen during free time.
Letting go and the ephemeral: Accepts that their creation stays in nature and disappears without taking it home.
