Detailed procedure :
1. Introduction: "Most agreements fail not because people are dishonest, but because they were poorly designed. Good agreement design is a skill."
2. The CSFOM rubric: Clear (everyone understands it the same way) / Specific (measurable, not vague) / Fair (everyone sees it as reasonable) / Owned (everyone chose it) / Monitorable (you can tell if it's being kept).
3. Evaluate existing class agreements against CSFOM.
4. Script: "A vague agreement is a future argument waiting to happen."
5. Redesign one existing agreement using CSFOM; compare the new and old versions.
Progress Indicators :
Applies CSFOM to evaluate 3 existing agreements. Redesigns one agreement that fails the rubric. Reports that the redesigned agreement is easier to follow and monitor.
