DETAILED PROCEDURE
Gather the whole group together in a circle for this activity. Monthly process: the class evaluates their agreements. Which ones are working? Which aren't? Why?
Step 1
Invite the children to provide evidence: specific examples of when the norm was followed vs. violated.
Step 2
Propose revisions: what would work better?
Step 3
Say gently to the children: "Good rules aren't permanent laws. They're living agreements that evolve with the group."
Step 4
Vote on any proposed changes; update the class agreement collaboratively.
