DETAILED PROCEDURE
Set up this activity in pairs. Explain calmly to the children: "Good feedback is a gift. Bad feedback is an attack. The difference is how you deliver it."
Step 1
Teach the KSH framework: Kind (respectful tone) + Specific (concrete observation) + Helpful (actionable suggestion).
Step 2
Practice on low-stakes work samples: a drawing, a game strategy, a story beginning.
Step 3
Say gently to the children: "Feedback that attacks the person shuts them down. Feedback that helps them grow opens them up."
Step 4
Partner feedback exchange on a real piece of work; check: was it kind, specific, and helpful?
