DETAILED PROCEDURE
This activity works best one-on-one, or with one child at a time within a small group. Establish a ritual to help child show their inner state.
Step 1
Model naming the feeling by saying: "My mouth says: I'm sad."
Step 2
Invite the child to make a symbolic gesture by pointing to a cloud on a weather board.
Step 3
Validate the feeling: "Yes, I can see you're feeling sad right now."
