DETAILED PROCEDURE

Gather the whole group together in a circle for this activity. Explain calmly to the children: "One of the most generous things you can do is give credit to someone else - especially when you could have taken it yourself."

Step 1

Discuss: what happens to a group when people hoard credit? When they give it generously?

Step 2

Practice: after a group success, each child finds someone else whose contribution made the difference and names it publicly.

Step 3

Say gently to the children: "When you shine a light on someone else's contribution, you don't get darker - you get bigger."

Step 4

Weekly ritual: one public credit-giving per child.

PROGRESS INDICATORS

The child gives specific public credit to a classmate's contribution weekly.

The child does not redirect received credit back to themselves.
