DETAILED PROCEDURE
This activity works best one-on-one, or with one child at a time within a small group. Explain calmly to the child: "Integrity means doing the right thing whether or not anyone is watching."
Step 1
Use these scenarios: how might behavior differ when the teacher is there vs. when they're not? When friends are watching vs. when they're alone?
Step 2
Discussion: what makes it hard to be consistent? What makes it easier?
Step 3
Say gently to the child: "Your character isn't what you do when people are watching. It's what you do when they're not."
Step 4
Integrity practice: commit to one behavior this week that you'd maintain even if no one could see.
