DETAILED PROCEDURE

Gather the whole group together in a circle for this activity. Explain calmly to the children: "In every group, some contributions are visible and celebrated. Others are invisible - but just as important."

Step 1

Use these examples: the child who makes sure everyone is included / the one who defuses tension / the one who keeps track of details.

Step 2

Group observation task: watch a group activity and document contributions you wouldn't normally notice.

Step 3

Say gently to the children: "The most valuable team contributions are often the ones that get the least credit."

Step 4

Recognition practice: give explicit recognition to an invisible contribution.
