Set up this activity in pairs. Step in after an incident where a child was bumped or bothered.

Step 1

Reassure the child by saying: "The rule 'We don't bump into each other' is there especially to protect you."

Step 2

Concretely show how applying this rule brings back calm and safety.

Step 3

Close with a validation: "See - we're really safe when everyone follows our rules."
