This activity works best one-on-one, or with one child at a time within a small group. Explain calmly to the child: "[Friend] is joyful."
Step 1
Give the instruction: "Pass this message by phone without changing it along the way."
Step 2
Invite the child to whisper the message to their neighbor in the same way.
Step 3
At the end of the chain, teacher checks by comparing the starting and ending messages.
