This activity works best one-on-one, or with one child at a time within a small group. Open a discussion to list all needs for completing a complex project.

Step 1

Propose smart distribution: "Let's divide roles well so we don't all do the same thing at once."

Step 2

Invite the children to engage in calm negotiation to decide who does what based on preferences and talents.

Ensure follow-through to check every essential role is covered.
