Gather the whole group together in a circle for this activity. Offer child a choice of responsibility for mealtime or cleanup.
Step 1
Ask: "Would you like to place the utensils or put away the cups?"
Step 2
Validate their role by saying: "That's your mission today - the whole group is counting on you."
Step 3
Once done, adult highlights the usefulness of the child's role for the class.
