MATERIALS

Sand timer

DETAILED PROCEDURE

This activity works best one-on-one, or with one child at a time within a small group. Use a sand timer to mark play times; when the sand runs out, children switch roles without a reminder.

Step 1

Invite the child to take initiative: "It's now my turn to be the leader, and your turn to be the helper."

Step 2

Invite the children to coordinate their actions autonomously, adapting to their new functions.

Step 3

Activity ends with an opinion share: "Which role did you prefer to play today?"
